A small cloister painted entirely in grey monochrome by Andrea del Sarto, free, open only on certain days, and known almost exclusively to art historians.

Sixteen scenes from the life of John the Baptist, all in grisaille, done over about fourteen years. The absence of colour makes it look like drawing at wall scale. It takes twenty minutes and costs nothing, and the opening days are limited, which is most of the reason it stays quiet.
